The HSEQ policy of the BMS Group

Purpose:

  • BMS Group will deliver a high level of safety and quality in our daily work and consequently strive to be an appreciated employer and business partner.
  • BMS Group shall be seen as a responsible employer and business partner as to climate and environment.
  • With this policy we wish to create guidelines for this vision to be followed by our employees, subcontractors and other business partners.

 

Objective:

  • We are obligated to register and control our significant health and safety impacts and thereby prevent both mental and physical work related injuries.
  • We are obligated to train and educate our employees into supplying a higher level of safety and quality work.
  • We are obligated to comply with legislation and other commitments. We expect the same from our subcontractors.
  • We are obligated to ensure continuous improvement of the management system effectiveness.
  • We are obligated to deliver services to match the expectations and requirements of our customers.
  • We are obligated to follow the green transition and the sustainability efforts of our suppliers.
  • We are obligated to develop technical solutions in favour of the environment and resource consumption in cooperation with our suppliers.
  • We are obligated to reduce exhaust of CO2 emissions by keeping focus on improvement of planning/logistics, idle time on equipment etc.

 

Guidelines:

  • Each employee is responsible for taking care of her-/himself, his fellow human beings and his surroundings. Everybody is obligated to interrupt, if he or she observes something unsafe.
  • The manager in charge must ensure sufficient instruction, training and education for each employee, to make this person competent for the task.
  • Managers and elected representatives are expected to take extraordinary responsibility by taking the lead and acting as role models as well as they will conduct inspections, evaluations and audits to ensure conformity to the present policy.
