Questions and answers about industry
How does BMS support industrial projects with lifting, transport and skidding?
BMS supports industrial customers with lifting, transport, skidding and project management when machinery, components or production equipment need to be moved, installed or positioned safely.
BMS has worked with industrial customers for several decades and has built significant experience with the needs of the industry. Activities in the industrial sector have grown, among other things, following the acquisitions of Kruse Maskintransport in 2014 and Vamdrup Specialtransport in 2017, both of which provided transport and skidding services to industrial customers.
Today, BMS offers a wide range of products and services for industrial projects, primarily within skidding, crane services, consultancy and project management.
Industrial tasks and production environments
BMS works with customers in areas such as the pharmaceutical and food industries, where we can assist with the construction of new factories, skidding of new machinery and installation of pipe bridges.
We also have experience with replacing existing production lines. In these cases, BMS can skid machinery out of production, transport it to the required location and, if needed, store it at storage facilities. New machinery can also be transported and skidded into production.
Solutions for different types of industry
BMS solutions are used in the pharmaceutical and food industries as well as in other industrial companies, including data centres, plastic and metal processing facilities.
We also support customers in heavier industries, including power plants, shipyards, oil and gas and similar areas, where planning, safety and execution are often critical.
What does our Director say about BMS' ability to adapt and meet the future challenges in the industry
"BMS is characterized by being the industry's partner. As components and modules have become larger, we at BMS have followed the development and can therefore still handle the tasks we are faced with in the same professional style. Due to our close collaboration with customers as well as our own suppliers, we are one step ahead, so we can also solve the task tomorrow"
Director, Kim
