BMS Wins ESTA Award for Complex Crane Operation in Kastrup

On Thursday, September 24, "ESTA" (the European Association for Crane and Transport) hosted its annual ESTA Awards, recognizing excellence across various categories.

This year, the event was held as a webinar due to Covid-19, but that didn’t stop BMS from being nominated in two categories.

In the "Telescopic Cranes Over 120 Tons" category, we competed with a project at Kastrup Airport, lifting steel beams for a hotel construction using an LTM1750 from Tvis.

The project, planned and supervised by Kasper Grüning, won the award in its category thanks to the complex conditions in and around the construction site.

In the "Lattice Boom Cranes" category, we participated with the renowned lift of a 12 MW GE wind turbine in Rotterdam, where BMS Heavy Cranes placed the nacelle using two LR11350 cranes with power booms.

Unfortunately, we did not win in this category.

Nevertheless, being represented in two categories at the ESTA Awards, alongside talented colleagues and spectacular projects is an honor.
