Hoisting and Replacement of Switchgear in Central Copenhagen

BMS has once again demonstrated its expertise in complex and precise lifts. This time with a 500 kg switch that needed to be hoisted over a 22-meter-high building at Reventlowsgade 4, Copenhagen.

Powerful Solution with 200tm Truck-Mounted Crane and Extra Fly-Jib

To ensure the lift could be carried out precisely and efficiently, we decided to equip our 200tm truck-mounted crane with an additional fly-jib – a so called “MFA jib.” This addition provided a jib reach of 25 meters, which was necessary to place the switchgear accurately while avoiding any obstacles.
