Old, protected bridge lifted in Tønder

Another impressive task has been carried out by BMS – this time in Tønder, where an old, listed bridge weighing 35 tons was carefully lifted from its place, after which it was transported to Hjordkær. Here, an extensive renovation awaits, where the bridge will be strengthened, while at the same time preserving its historical expression.

For the task, we used one of our largest and most powerful mobile cranes,   LTM 1750-9.1 , which with its impressive lifting capacity of 750 tons ensured precise, stable and safe lifting of the 35-ton, listed bridge.   To ensure a solid and safe working platform, our   The roadbed department was responsible for laying heavy roadbeds on both the stands and transport routes. This was essential to distribute the load evenly and create a stable foundation, which minimized the risk of subsidence and optimized the crane's performance.
