Renovation of the historic bridge at Egeskov Castle – A unique architectural project

We have recently contributed to the complete renovation of the old bridge over the moat at Egeskov Castle, one of Northern Europe's best-preserved water castles.

Egeskov Castle is a unique architectural building, where the water of the moat borders right up to the outer walls, which in its time functioned as a natural defense against the enemy in times of conflict. As the only remaining building in Denmark where the walls rise directly from the deep water of the lake in the moat, this was a unique and exciting task for our team.
