Efficient replacement of a telephone antenna in just five hours

In 2023, BMS assisted in the upgrade of a Hi3G antenna to 5G.

First, the existing installation was dismantled in one complete lift. The new 5G antenna was assembled at KM Telecom, which works with analysis, design, installation, upgrading and maintenance of communication infrastructure. From there, the antenna was transported to the installation site, where it was lifted into place with a 60-meter Spierring crane.

Normally a truck-mounted lift would have been an option, but at this location there were tennis courts, trees and terrain to consider, so a crane solution was the most appropriate.

The operation itself was completed in just five hours.
