Truck-mounted cranes are an efficient and versatile type of crane that is used for both short-term and long-term tasks. Likewise, truck-mounted cranes can be used advantageously, when a task includes both transport and lifting.

What makes truck-mounted cranes a versatile and efficient choice for lifting and transport tasks?

Truck cranes are one of the most versatile and efficient crane types that can be used for both short-term and long-term tasks. Their mobility makes them particularly suitable when both transportation and lifting need to be combined. Whether the job requires building materials to be delivered to a construction site or a machine weighing up to 40 tons to be lifted into a factory hall, truck cranes are the optimal choice.

One of the biggest advantages of truck cranes is their flexibility. They can easily be moved around and drive on ordinary roads without the need for support vehicles with ballast, saving both time and resources. At the same time, they are equipped with remote control so the crane operator can follow the work close to the crew. This increases efficiency as the need for hand signals or radio communication can often be reduced - although it may still be necessary in certain situations.

Truck cranes combine strength and adaptability, making them ideal for a wide range of tasks. They can transport over 100 tons as special transport and maneuver in narrow and challenging spaces. With quick rigging and de-rigging, they are particularly effective on construction sites where crane positioning needs to be changed frequently. In addition, the cranes can be customized with equipment such as vacuum suction and yokes for glass and facade lifting, rafter and drywall lifting, and pallet forks for roof tiles. For additional functionality, some truck cranes can be equipped with hydraulic tools such as rotator grabs, making them even more versatile and suitable for specialized tasks.
