Mini crawler crane through a narrow gateway into a courtyard in Aarhus

The only way into the courtyard was through a narrow gateway from a pedestrian street.

That set the conditions for the job in Aarhus, where a mini crawler crane was chosen because larger equipment could not access the site.

The crane was transported through the pedestrian street early in the morning before continuing through the gateway and into the courtyard.

Access required careful planning

The transport was carefully planned to take place before the city became busy. With the necessary permits in place, the truck could enter the pedestrian street and deliver the mini crawler crane close to the work area.

From there, the crane travelled through the gateway before being set up inside the courtyard.

When access determines the solution

The courtyard offered very limited working space and was surrounded by buildings on all sides. The compact size of the mini crawler crane made it possible to reach the work area, set up safely and complete the job where larger cranes would not have had the same access.

This type of project is a good example of when a mini crawler crane is the most practical solution.
